Larry Csonka

Probably the face and attitude most associated with the 1972 Dolphins. Larry Csonka is still Miami’s all-time rushing leader with 6,737 yards. Drafted out of Syracuse by the Dolphins with the 8th overall pick in 1968, Csonka played all but three seasons with Miami. He eventually retired as a Dolphin in 1979 with over 8000 total career rushing yards. In 1987, Lawrence Richard Csonka was inducted into the Pro Football’s Hall of Fame.
