Me and My Homemade Jersey in the Mid-70's

I grew up in Virginia Beach, Va surrounded by Redskin fans. So it’s a mystery how I became a Miami Dolphins fan at such an early age, but the proof is in the picture. Wish I still had that jersey, obviously I petitioned my Mother enough times that she was willing to undertake the task of making it for me. I remember watching Marino during his 1984 season, he seemed unstoppable. I also remember being heartbroken when the Dolphins lost to the 49ers in Super Bowl XIX. The Marino years were a lot of fun, even though none them ended in a World Championship. Unfortunately, I was only 4 years old and don’t remember the 1972 Dolphins. But like any true Dol-fan, their legacy runs orange in my veins. So I created this site to bring all Dol-fans together as we celebrate the past, enjoy the present, and look forward to the future.
